Global Warming - Rising Sea Level

Global warming is expected to raise sea level by almost 39 inches or almost 100 centimeters by end of this century. The water level will rise mainly because of the melting glaciers. The ocean temprature is likely to rise at the same time resulting in more intense hurricanes, droughts, and extreme wheather.

"Sea level rise is going to have more general impact to the population and the infrastructure than almost anything else that I can think of," said S. Jeffress Williams.

As sea water will rise, some of the states will start loosing land. Florida, Louisiana, North ans South Carolina, and Texas are likely to be most affected. In Florida, the raising water level is likely to pollute drinking water wells. Many aeras in these states will become flooded with salt water. Some of the important sites that will be affected are launch pads that sent the first American in the space. The rising water will swamp many major interstate highways.

What can an individual do to reduce ozone depletion

Luis Low land invasion, beach erosion and man made structures distruction are three phenomenoms that will be very important in the way we see the future.
Mimi I think this this sea rise is very ridiculous and people need to be more considerate for the environment or they will every day endanger their own lives and that of others too!!
Kate Sea level rising is terrible!!! I think that is is something we should worry about daily. We need help...terribly...together, we can make a difference.
Jerry This will affect us by drowning us and the earth will explode. So I say we stop polluting and recycle cans, plastic bottles, and more AND tell your freinds not to pollute and tell them what you learned about polluting and finally tell them where to find this website. GO FOR GREEN!.
